Cellulitis face picture

Face cellulitis is a bacterial skin infection which occur on the face especially the cheek or periorbital or orbital tissues, although other areas such as the neck may be affected, which may be produced by spread of an infection from nearby or distant foci. It is characterized by a bluish or purplish red, tender, poorly demarcated area of indurated cellulitis with an edematous border, and often accompanied by fever, local pain, and bacteremia.
