Common warts are noncancerous skin growths caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV),
which stimulates the rapid growth of cells of the outer layer of your skin. More than 60
types of HPV occur.
Some types of HPV tend to cause warts on your skin. Common warts usually occur on your
